A FETÖ investigation has been launched into the Maydonoz Döner restaurant chain with 390 branches. During the operation conducted in 31 cities, 353 people, including 10 civil servants, were detained. It was determined that the chain was serving the organization by making domestic and international money transfers through its branches. It was also understood that the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) has been following the company for a while.
In the FETÖ investigation carried out by the Antalya Public Prosecutor's Office for 1.5 years, it was learned that the owners of Maydonoz Döner, Cuma Dağlı, Engin Kayıkçı, Ömer Faruk Ekim, Yücel Bahri Öntemel, Mehmet Kaşlı and Ömer Şeyhin, were also detained.
Following these developments, TMSF was assigned as a trustee by court order in 21 companies operating under the Maydonoz Döner brand, which were subject to operations and were under the supervision of MASAK.
The statement, which stated that the investigation launched by the Antalya Public Prosecutor's Office was ongoing, said, "In order to ensure that commercial activities are not disrupted and the rights of third parties are protected, new managements of the companies have been formed and have started their work."
TMSF announced that uninterrupted service, especially online orders, will continue in the companies they are assigned to.
The statement said, "It is respectfully announced to the public that the official statements of our Institution should be followed against unconfirmed news and disinformation especially on social media."
