In order to further advance the potential of Blockchain and Web3 technologies in Turkey, the strategy meeting organized by the DEİK Digital Technologies Business Council Web3/Blockchain Committee was held in Feriye.
This special event, where important sector representatives came together, offered a great opportunity to both evaluate the current technological ecosystem and create a vision for the future.
Throughout the event, comprehensive exchanges of ideas were held with leading sector representatives, and strategic steps for the future of Blockchain and Web3 in Turkey were discussed.
During the meeting, strategies required for Turkey to become a more effective actor in blockchain and Web3 technologies were discussed, and the need to act together to make Turkey one of the focal points of these technologies and to assume a leading role on a global scale was emphasized.
DEİK Digital Technologies Business Council Web3/Blockchain Committee Chairman Burak Soylu stated that they aim to strengthen the ecosystem by using Turkey's potential in blockchain and Web3 technologies in the best way possible and to make Istanbul a Web3 and Blockchain center in this field.
Burak Soylu emphasized that the Web3 Committee will undertake a critical task during this period when blockchain technology is being intensely discussed all over the world, and drew attention to the vision of the Istanbul Finance Center (IFC), which aims to increase Istanbul's competitive power in global financial markets and to make Istanbul a financial hub. Stating that Istanbul can also be the capital of blockchain in addition to this vision, Burak Soylu emphasized that the entire committee should work with a common vision for this purpose. With this meeting, the biggest step towards this goal was taken, and a solid foundation was established for future collaborations and projects.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that the suggestions and projects brought up at the event would further advance Turkey's blockchain and Web3 ecosystem.
