The Turkish Naval Forces will make a huge investment of 350 million euros for TCG Anadolu and other naval elements at Aksaz Base. The project includes dock, pier and coastal facilities, and the tender process will be completed in 2025.
Naval Forces Command Logistics Presidency Engineering Department Head Rear Admiral Tayfun Öznel shared the details of the project. He stated that the investments to be made at Aksaz Base aim to ensure more effective use of TCG Anadolu and other naval elements. The project will be implemented with a cost of approximately 350 million Euros and work is ongoing for financing solutions.
TENDER PROCESS TO BE COMPLETED IN 2025
The project, the tender process of which is stated to be completed in 2025, will also include infrastructure works for TCG Anadolu at Aksaz Base as well as important construction projects for the Yolluca Pier and Çanakkale Naval Air Group Command.
Rear Admiral Öznel emphasized that infrastructure projects are also planned in Gökçeada and the TRNC in 2025 and that new projects will be launched within the scope of cooperation with NATO.
