Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu noted that Türksat’s Gölbaşı Data Center, planned by Türksat to meet the data and cloud technology needs of Türksat, which has assumed a critical role in Turkey’s digital transformation, will be implemented in a giant area of ​​28,500 square meters. Minister Uraloğlu stated that with the Gölbaşı Data Center, which will increase Türksat’s data center capacity by over 8 times, they will meet the needs for all data and cloud services, especially the e-Government Gateway, with domestic software. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Türksat, which established Turkey's digital infrastructure, primarily the e-Government Gateway, will implement a new project. Uraloğlu stated that with the Gölbaşı Data Center to be established in Ankara, they will meet all data and cloud service needs with domestic software in order to ensure the business continuity of institutions that host critical information. In his statement about the center, Minister Uraloğlu said, “The Gölbaşı Data Center will be one of the largest data centers in Turkey with its giant area of ​​28,500 square meters.”
