A fire broke out in the forest in the Tayfur village of Eceabat district at around 14:00. The flames quickly spread to a wide area due to the effect of the wind. Upon notification, many water trucks and forest teams from the Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region. The teams' intervention against the fire is continuing.
