
An operation was launched against the Ataşehir, Maltepe, Şişli and Sarıyer municipalities in Istanbul over accusations of financing the terrorist organization DHKP-C. As part of the investigation, 34 addresses were raided. 32 suspects were detained. It was reported that K.Ö., an advisor to IMM Mayor İmamoğlu, was among those detained.
As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau, it was determined that the DHKP/C terrorist organization established the IKOM (Needs Committee) in order to meet the needs of institutions belonging to the organization and to provide financial support for activities to be carried out on behalf of the organization.
