Actress and screenwriter Claudia Campolina, who was a guest on Tati Bernardi's video broadcast "Desculpa Alguma Coisa" broadcast on Canal UOL, talked about how she deals with the comments and threats she receives in her videos.
Claudia went viral with her videos making fun of men. The film, which subverts how male and female roles are presented in society, portrays a woman who behaves in a way traditionally attributed to men.
She explained that she has never filed a complaint regarding the threats. “Maybe I should have filed a few police reports, but I haven’t received any threats that scared me. They can’t stand to impersonate us or make fun of us. They say, ‘This is not funny.’”
Claudia also said that she tries not to give names when responding to comments. “I’m taking a little bit of my name off so as not to create a problem, a little bit of my name off so as not to get hate that could be disproportionate, a little bit of my name off so as not to be famous.”
